Back to Basics: Learn from an Affiliate’s Success & a New Challenge!

Hello Affiliates,

We’re back with our “Back to Basics” series, which is all about empowering you to grow your business with translation services.

The more you understand your product or service, the more confident you’ll be in selling it.

You’ll be able to answer questions, address objections, and convince potential clients that you are their best option.

Some of our affiliates are coming up with innovative and creative ways to showcase our services to the public.

This week, we want to spotlight one of our own: Khemraj Singh of Jersey City, NJ, the owner of My Virtual Notary Public.

Khemraj is a long-time affiliate who created an excellent video to explain the translation process.

It’s informative, interactive, and short enough to hold a client’s interest. You can watch his video here.

We want to challenge you to take a similar idea and incorporate it into your own marketing. Your marketing efforts don’t need to be high-tech, but they do need to:

  • Clarify doubts: Address common questions and concerns clients have about the translation process.
  • Clearly explain the service: Walk them through how to use our service and what they need to provide.
  • Establish trust: Show that you are a knowledgeable and reliable resource.

For example, you could develop a short video for YouTube or your Google My Business profile.

For those of you who also offer apostille services, your video or content can easily incorporate how a notarized translation fits into the broader apostille process.

Remember, for people to find you, you need to be “findable.”

A strong online presence is paramount, and a robust Google My Business profile is one of the most effective ways to build a local reputation.

Take advantage of all the free resources available to you—social media, local directories, and, of course, your own website—to become the go-to translation provider in your area.

More Actionable Tips to Grow Your Sales:

  • Leverage Your Existing Client Base: You already have clients who trust you for notary or apostille services. Make sure they know you can also handle their translation needs. A simple email or a quick mention during a meeting can go a long way.
  • Ask for Testimonials: Once you’ve completed a translation for a client, ask them for a review. Post these glowing testimonials on your website, Google My Business, or social media pages to build social proof and credibility.
  • Collaborate with Local Businesses: Network with other professionals who serve the same demographic, such as immigration lawyers, real estate agents, or international travel agents. They are a prime source of referrals and can become a valuable part of your growth strategy.

A Challenge to Inspire You: The $1000 Affiliate!

We are so close to our goal of seeing our first affiliate break the $1000 monthly commission barrier!

One affiliate in particular is only $150 away from this magic number, and we’re cheering them on to get there.

Do you want to get there, too?

I’m here to help.

The more you ask, the more you will get.
