Hello Affiliates,
I want to start this week by how pleased I am with our affiliate community. I’m equally as proud to be part of such a motivated and friendly group of people.
That feeling of teamwork and building towards a common goal is the ethos of Idiomatic, and we do our best to help others in any way we can.
That starts with sharing knowledge.
We strive to provide useful and actionable information to everyone, and many of you are channeling that into a veritable new revenue stream for your business by selling translations.
We even have several affiliates who are tantalizingly close to a $1000 monthly payout from us—and that’s just commissions!
When you factor in the upcharge on the services, they are nearing a total of $2000 in monthly revenue.
So, how are they attracting this business? By building a functional and practical sales platform.
This is 2025.
People want things as quickly as possible, with as little human interaction as they can get away with.
We need to take advantage of that and make buying as simple as possible by making the client purchasing experience fast and intuitive.
If we skip the back-and-forth emails and make payment as frictionless as possible, you are much more likely to get a sale.
Case in point: Think about how easy it is to buy from Amazon. There are no bottlenecks.
With that in mind, we all want to be the “Amazon of the translation world.”
So, what’s a good way to start?
By developing a professional order form for your website.
I’ve mentioned this in past newsletters and continue to get questions about it.
That tells me I can do better on my end, and I want to help.
Given our ethos of sharing knowledge, I want to make our own affiliate order form—the one you all use to place orders with us—available for you to use on your own websites.
With a little tweaking here and there (adding your logos, adjusting your pricing, etc.), you will have a fully functional order form for your site.
A few caveats:
- We use WordPress and the WP Forms plugin on our website. This might not be compatible for everyone.
- We use the paid version of WP Forms.
However, many of you do use WordPress.
And if you don’t, how can we still help you?
We also have an order form (albeit a slightly simpler one) built with forms.app. This can be embedded in any website and works very well.
Do you already have your own forms program?
Get in touch, and I will personally help walk you through the logic of building out a complex form to automate your sales.
We want to help you succeed.
Questions, comments, or ideas? Send them to [email protected].
Better yet, schedule a 1-on-1 with me here.
If you’re already selling, keep it up!
If you haven’t started, let’s work together to get your first sale.
Good luck!
