As we move further into 2026, many of you have asked: “How can I grow my commissions without necessarily doing more manual work?”
The answer lies in a feature we’ve built into the heart of Idiomatic Affiliates: The Multi-Tiered System.
While most of you are focused on direct sales (Tier 1), you are sitting on a massive opportunity to build your own “agency” within our ecosystem.
Today, I want to revisit how this works and why it is the ultimate strategy for scaling your passive income.
What is a Multi-Tiered Affiliate?
In a standard program, you only earn when you make a sale. In our multi-tiered program, you also earn a percentage of every sale made by people you recruit into the program.
- Tier 1 (Direct): You refer a client for a translation. You earn your full commission.
- Tier 2 (Indirect): You refer another notary, apostille agent, or entrepreneur to join our affiliate program. When they refer a client, they earn their commission—and you earn a “manager’s” percentage as a reward for bringing them into the fold.
The “Why”: Build a Network, Not Just a Job
Think of this as building your own sales team. By recruiting just a few active sub-affiliates, you create a cascading revenue stream.
- Reach New Markets: You might focus on USCIS translations, but your sub-affiliate might be an expert in Spanish Sworn Translations. Their success becomes your success.
- Compound Interest: One or two high-performing sub-affiliates can eventually generate more monthly commission for you than your own direct sales, simply because of their volume.
- The “One-Stop Shop” Network: If you know other notary groups or professional networks, inviting them isn’t just a favor—it’s a business move that solidifies you as a leader in the space.
How to Recruit Sub-Affiliates
It’s easier than you think. You don’t need a “sales pitch.” Just share your experience:
- Log into your dashboard.
- Find your “Network” or “Sub-Affiliate” link. (This is different from your standard translation order link!)
- Share it with colleagues, in Facebook groups for Notaries, or at your local networking events.
When they sign up using that link, they are permanently attached to your “downline.”
