For those who haven’t, we want to share a recent example: just yesterday, we sent a $230 monthly commission payment to an affiliate who simply connected one client with our translation services.

The Untold Story of Icarus

Most of us know the myth of Icarus: a young man, yearning for the freedom of flight, crafts wings from feathers and wax. 

He soars towards the sun, ignoring warnings, until the wax melts, and he plummets to his demise. A cautionary tale of ambition and hubris.

But what if I told you that’s not the real story?

The Icarus we know today – the one who flew too high – is a product of the Industrial Revolution. 

Factory owners, eager to maintain control, twisted the myth to discourage workers from seeking a better life.

The original myth is far more empowering. Icarus, in his youthful exuberance, doesn’t fly too high; he flies too low. 

His wings graze the sea, becoming waterlogged, and he tragically drowns. It’s a tale not of overreaching ambition, but of limiting oneself, of playing it safe, of failing to realize one’s full potential.
