Hello Affiliates,
This week, I wanted to take a step back from the nuts and bolts of the affiliate program and share something more fundamental: the “why” behind Idiomatic.
What truly motivates us, how do we see ourselves, and what sets us apart?
At its core, Idiomatic is a business, and like any business, we are a for-profit organization.
However, our definition of success extends far beyond mere financial gain. We believe in the power of community and the potential to create a positive impact for everyone involved in our ecosystem.
Who are those people we aim to impact?
They are our dedicated team at Idiomatic, the talented translators who bring language to life, our valued collaborators – each and every one of you as affiliates – and, ultimately, the end clients who rely on our services to connect with the world.
So, what principles guide us in this mission? We’ve identified four core values that form the bedrock of everything we do:
- Freedom: We believe in empowering individuals – our team, our translators, and you, our affiliates – with the autonomy to thrive. It’s working where you want, when you want, and knowing to do so.
- Collaboration: We understand that we are stronger together. Our affiliate program (and entire business) is built on the spirit of partnership, where we work hand-in-hand with you to achieve mutual success. Your insights and contributions are invaluable.
- Having Fun: While we take our work seriously, we also believe in enjoying the journey. There needs to be a spark in the day-to-day, something exciting to instill life.
- Ingenuity: We are constantly seeking innovative solutions. Much of what we do is take a problem, address it, and tinker with it until it’s solved. We pride ourselves on thinking creatively, which is where the best results come from.
These values aren’t just words on a page; they are the driving force behind our decisions and our interactions. We strive to connect with others on this level. When our message resonates, and our values are understood, we forge a bond – and that bond is what builds a true community.
We believe that by operating with freedom, fostering collaboration, embracing a spirit of fun, and driving ingenuity, we can create a positive ripple effect that benefits everyone within the Idiomatic network.
We are more than just a translation company; we are a community built on shared values and a common goal of making a positive impact.
