Today, we are thrilled to announce a major technological breakthrough that will directly elevate the trust, security, and prestige of the translation packages you deliver to your clients.

As a notary, you already know the power of Remote Online Notarization (RON). RON verifies who signed a document using digital identity checks and blockchain ledger logs.

But it leaves one major question unanswered for consulates, courts, and government agencies:

“How do we know the underlying translation itself hasn’t been altered or tampered with after delivery?”

The Problem: Post-Delivery Document Tampering

As an ISO 9001:2018 certified translation company and corporate member of the American Translators Association (ATA), Idiomatic is legally obligated to translate every document in its entirety, exactly as presented.

We attest under penalty of perjury that our translations are complete and accurate.

However, once a PDF translation leaves our inbox, bad actors or desperate applicants could theoretically edit a line, delete a page, or alter incriminating information before submitting it to a court or consulate.

If a government agency suspects tampering, the entire document package—and the notary’s certification attached to it—can be thrown into question.

Until now, proving post-delivery document integrity was almost impossible. That changes today.

The Solution: Cryptographic Verification via CertVerify

Using immutable blockchain ledger technology similar to RON platforms, we have built a proprietary verification system directly into our translation delivery pipeline using CertVerify.

Every new certified translation delivery package (Certification Page + Translation + Original Source Document) now includes a dynamic QR code and Registry Index ID embedded right on the cover sheet.

Any receiving official, consulate officer, court clerk, or notary can instantly scan or verify this marker to confirm that the document in their hands is 100% original, complete, and untampered.

Try the “Valid Document” Test:

Download VALID DOCUMENT.pdf from the Drive folder.
Go to the verification app interface, or scan the QR code on the top-right corner of the PDF.

Drag and drop the PDF into the validator.
The Result: You will see a green “STATUS: AUTHENTIC” badge alongside the official master copy stored in our ledger.

Try the “Altered Document” Test:

Download ALTERED DOCUMENT.pdf (where a tiny modification was made).
Upload it to the same verification portal.
The Result: The system instantly flags a red “INTEGRITY ALERT”, notifying the reviewer that the document hash does not match our master ledger and has been modified post-issuance.
