Be Seen, Be Successful: Your Website as Your Ultimate Business Asset

Hello Affiliates,

This week, let’s talk about something fundamental to your business’s success, whether it’s related to translation services or your primary venture: the absolute importance of being seen and gaining visibility.

Being seen can manifest in many ways, but in terms of ROI and long-term benefits, very few things outperform a well-utilized website.

Your website isn’t just an online brochure; it’s your business’s 24/7/365 storefront. It’s where clients can learn about what you do, understand your value, and, most importantly, purchase your services.

After your expertise and your team, your business’s website is arguably its biggest asset, holding an outsized impact on your overall success.

Here are some ideas on how to leverage your website to your advantage:

  1. First Things First: Have a Website. This might seem obvious, but many businesses still operate without a proper online hub. You don’t need a huge budget; myriad web companies like Google Sites or Wix offer basic and free options to get started.

If people can’t see you, they don’t know you exist.
  2. Adopt, Adapt, and Improve. Look at your competitors. What services are they promoting? Is their website content engaging, informative, and educational?

Don’t just copy; take what they do, and then dive even more deeply into those topics, offering more value and unique insights.
  3. Make It Easy to Buy. People are addicted to convenience. Does your website have a clear checkout option where clients can, for example, schedule and pay for a RON notarization or an apostille?

Think of Amazon’s success – they’ve made the buying process as quick and effortless as possible. Strive for that same simplicity.
  4. Leverage Data, Don’t Just Guess. Stop guessing what your audience wants or how they find you. Know. Use data! Consider trying a keyword analysis tool like Diib to understand what words and terms people are searching for.

These tools can even show you what keywords your competitors are ranking for, giving you invaluable insights.
  5. Be Patient and Smart. You’ve implemented all these ideas. Now what? Websites don’t grow overnight. Any modification or new content you add now will take weeks or even months to yield significant rewards. Use free tools like Google Search Console to track your progress, but most importantly, don’t obsess!

Think about the bamboo analogy: a bamboo shoot sits dormant for 7 years before it sprouts. Then, it can grow a foot a day. Your consistent efforts now are like those dormant years for the bamboo – preparing for rapid growth.

We’re always here to help you capitalize on these strategies.
